Daniel Gorklo will be performing a guitar recital of favorite compositions of Spain. Spanning three centuries, the music includes transcriptions of harpsichord works by Scarlatti, piano works of 19th century virtuoso Isaac Albeniz and a number of modern works composed for luminary guitarist Andres Segovia. Turina, Torroba, Barrios and a homaje to Debussy by Manuel Defalla will round out the program.
