Despite the dogged official reluctance to mention Islamic terrorism by name, abroad or at home, it continues to cast a deadly shadow and take its toll. On Monday, December 10, at 7pm in the CCU Beckman Center, Centennial Institute welcomes Melvin Bledsoe and Daris Long for a screening of "Losing Our Sons," the gripping documentary that tells their story. Long's son, an Army soldier, was shot in cold blood by Bledsoe's son, a jihadist convert, at the recruiting station in Little Rock in 2009. Now the two fathers are bearing witness together to warn all Americans about this persistent threat.
Admission is free, but reservations are required. RSVP to 303-963-3424 or Centennial@ccu.edu with your name and the number in your party.
