Media Literacy 101: Inside a TV Newsroom

Kyle Clark, 9News AnchorHow can viewers watch broadcast news with more discernment? How can an aspiring young broadcast journalist get started? News in the 21st Century, Centennial Institute's media literacy project for students and the community, opens its 2013 series with a roundtable discussion on local television news.

Our special guest is Kyle Clark, a news anchor for 9News in Denver, who gained national attention with his blunt questions about Benghazi to President Obama during last year's campaign. Join us on Wednesday, March 20, from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m. in the CCU Dining Commons Annex. There will be no food served at this noontime event.

Admission is free and all are welcome, but reservations are required. Complete the RSVP form below or call 303-963-3424 to reserve your space. Note: to repeat, this is not a luncheon. The Dining Commons Annex is located near the Garrison Street entrance to Colorado Christian University, west of the flagpole.
