Colorado Christian University has launched a new online financial aid
information and counseling service on the University's website. Financial Aid
TV is a Web-based video service that provides answers to students and their
families on a wide variety of financial aid-related questions.
CCU's Financial Aid TV
includes brief, informational videos in a 'YouTube' format that cover all
aspects of financial assistance, ranging from financial aid basics, the
application process, grant programs, eligibility, FAFSA, Colorado State aid and
much more.
With more than 70 videos available, the Financial Aid TV Web
site is searchable by topic and playlist and all videos can be viewed anytime,
day or night, free of charge.
CCU director of Service Central, Linda
Perciante, believes that the new service will significantly improve students'
understanding of financial aid issues. "CCU's Financial Aid TV will make it
easier for prospective students (and parents) early in the college search
process to get information that can help them make informed decisions on
financing their college education," she said. "It also provides current students
with simple-to-understand answers to common financial aid questions and helps
them take better advantage of a full range of tools to lower their cost of
attendance."
Financial Aid TV is a service of
College Media
Solutions, an independent publisher of turn-key digital solutions for
educational institutions based in San Francisco, California.
