Officials at Colorado Christian University
have announced the hiring of Paul J. Eldridge as Vice President for Development,
effective May 9, 2011.
In his new role, he will oversee fundraising
efforts and contribute to the strategic growth of the private, liberal-arts
University based in suburban Denver and operating regional centers across
Colorado.
Eldridge is a recognized expert in estate planning and
capital campaigns, and he has spent the last seven years as senior director of
development and planned giving at John Brown University, raising millions of
dollars by creating philanthropic opportunities for donors and developing
planned-giving vehicles.
Born in Temecula, Calif., Eldridge attended
college at John Brown, earned a master's degree with magna cum laude honors from
Simon Greenleaf University, and also holds a law degree from Trinity Law School.
He has previously served as a teacher and, for five years, practiced law in
California.
