The Family Tree announced that Colorado Christian University has
been nominated for the 2011 Community Award that will be presented during its
18th annual Celebration of Achievement Fundraising Dinner on Thursday, May 5,
2011. CCU joins Compass Construction, Every Child Counts, Brad and Debra
Geissler, and Don Hanlon as nominees for the special award.
The
Celebration of Achievement Fundraising Dinner will recognize the
accomplishments of four Family Tree clients who have reached self-sufficiency,
and the community support that helped contribute toward those accomplishments.
The featured speaker will be Emmy Award-winning writer and producer, Scott
Halford, and the emcee will be Jennifer Zeppelin, CBS4 News meteorologist. The
dinner will take place at 6:00 p.m. at the Arvada Center for the Arts and
