Awarded Texas Teacher of the Year; 25 years' experience teaching and developing large band and orchestra programs in suburban Houston (Tomball and Katy Independent School Districts, Texas); numerous Honor Band and Festival Best in Class Awards; Texas University Interscholastic League Sweepstakes awards in marching band, concert band, solo, and ensemble competitions; graduated first in class in undergraduate and graduate degrees; actively sought as an adjudicator and clinician for band and orchestra.
