Professional experience includes: Dean of the CCU School of Education;
professor of adolescent development; secondary education teaching
theory and practice; legal and ethical issues in education; young adult
literature, and others; CCU director of secondary education; social
science and English teacher grades 7-12; middle and high school
counselor; high school career placement center director; central office
administrator for career development K-12; curriculum materials writer;
minister of evangelism and integration; and Myers-Briggs consultant.
Currently, as Dean of the School of Education, I am pleased to have led efforts to gain three No Child Left Behind grants, to receive Association of Christian Schools International ten-year approval for Christian School Teacher Certification, to develop state-of-the-art education instruments for Colorado teacher preparation accreditation, and to help build a positive, caring atmosphere in our school.
