For me, the main deciding factors in choosing CCU were the University's commitment to faith, close-knit community, Education program, and heart for outreach and ministry. Other schools I looked at did not have all of these areas integrated so strongly. My favorite class so far has probably been Philosophical Inquiry, which may seem odd since that isn't part of my major core courses. I just learned so much about life and about God!

I also love the community here on campus. People are all around to encourage you and just have fun with, it is awesome! During my time at CCU, I have been involved in a lot of different activities, including chapel, dances, intramurals, ministries, clubs, etc. CCU has so many opportunities! A couple of my highlights have been being a part of the campus ministry "Westside" and going to Scotland with CCU2theWorld. Both were incredible experiences!

At CCU, the chapel worship and speakers have been amazing. Chapel makes it easy to connect with God and causes me to remember to stop my busy life and just to worship. I also have grown through my Bible classes and learned more of what I believe.

So far, my favorite places have been skiing in the mountains and just sitting at Belmar Park. Colorado has so much beauty to offer!
