There was no bone in my body that wanted to go to college. I was done with homework after High School. That's where God showed me that I wasn't in control of my life, He was! I thought it'd be nice to be close to home but still far enough away to be on my own. My parents wanted me in a stable college that focused on Christ. There's just something about CCU that draws people to it. The campus isn't huge or elaborate but the people and presence of God is!
I chose CCU because I wanted to follow Christ and be in fellowship with others that wanted the same. Besides the amazing faculty and students, I love how many events happen on campus to keep us entertained. Everything from King Cougar to extra-credit chapels with amazing speakers! There is always something to do, and if there isn't anything scheduled, ping-pong in the student union is the way to go!
My favorite class so far was Introduction to Mass Media! Not only did we get to sit club level at a Rockies game we also got to go to a News station and learn what goes into broadcasting. Over all, the professor made the class. She cared about each student individually! I still have a great relationship with her!
