Biblical Studies

"I am much afraid that schools will prove to be the great gates of hell unless they diligently labor in explaining the Holy Scriptures, engraving them in the hearts of youth. I advise no one to place his child where the Scriptures do not reign paramount."
-Martin Luther, German monk, theologian, and Church reformer (1483-1546)

The Biblical Studies programs at Colorado Christian University equip you for a lifetime of growth in Bible study by giving you the tools and knowledge needed to do accurate exposition of biblical texts. The Biblical Studies major is also effective preparation for further study in graduate school or seminary and assists in developing essential skills for studying ancient and religious texts.

David Bosworth

Assistant Professor of Theology and Missions
School of Theology

In the field of missiology, faith and learning are of necessity integrated. Isolating the theology of mission from the practice of it, is a tragedy. My desire is to encourage students to embrace their God-given calling to shine Christ's light to the ends of the earth and to assist students in discovering what specific role they have in that grand endeavor.
