"I am much afraid that schools will prove to be the great gates of hell unless they diligently labor in explaining the Holy Scriptures, engraving them in the hearts of youth. I advise no one to place his child where the Scriptures do not reign paramount."
Martin Luther, German Monk, Theologian, and Church Reformer (1483-1546)
The Biblical Studies degree at Colorado Christian University is the program you will want to pursue if you desire to be a pastor, missionary, or even if you're just hungering to know more about the Bible. Majoring in biblical studies will change your life and prepare you for whatever and wherever God is calling you. The Biblical Studies major is also effective preparation for further study in graduate school or seminary and assists in developing essential skills for dealing with ancient and religious texts.
Studying the Bible is relevant no matter what career you pursue. That's why all Colorado Christian University students are required to build a biblical foundation by completing 12 credits of Bible and theology courses from the Biblical Studies program professors. Bible courses at CCU challenge you to go deeper – to keep asking tough questions until you discover the answers, to keep seeking until your faith becomes your own.
