Colorado Christian University offers highly motivated students the opportunity to complete their bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in four years. These dual degree programs enable students to complete requirements for both degrees in less time than it would to complete the degrees separately by applying credits for certain courses to both programs.
Students who qualify for the 3+1 Dual Degree program are immersed in an intensive academic plan, enabling them to earn both their bachelor’s and master’s degrees in an accelerated format. Students will complete their undergraduate coursework in three years through the College of Undergraduate Studies, graduating with a bachelor’s degree. Students then complete their master’s degree coursework in their fourth year through the College of Adult and Graduate Studies.
Students in their fourth year may participate in traditional student service and student life activities, including athletics, student government leadership, residence hall living, and mission opportunities.
Traditional undergraduate students interested in the 3+1 Dual Degree program must work with their academic advisor beginning in their freshman year to plan their course schedule and complete all bachelor’s degree requirements in the first three years.
Traditional undergraduate students may be eligible to receive a scholarship for their fourth year in the 3+1 program. The value of the scholarship will be determined based on the amount of Merit Scholarship and other institutional gift aid received in the prior year.
See the academic catalog for more information on program requirements.
