As a Christian in the Reformed tradition, I acknowledge Christ's sovereignty over every square inch of his creation, including the classroom. Scholarship is an essential part of my Christian perspective. Scholarship advances knowledge, and increased knowledge encourages richer discussions and collaborative efforts with my fellow followers of Christ. Moreover, the pursuit of truth should relentlessly address how we, as followers of Christ, can make a redemptive difference in society.
