Aaron Walker '07, earned his degree in Music Composition from CCU. He founded the Elevation Swing Orchestra in 2007, and the Swing Je T'aime in 2009. In addition to being a private music theory instructor, Aaron also composes music for live performances, audio recordings, and films.

The Music Theory and Songwriting emphasis provides students of any major with study of music theory and history, as well as ear training and lessons in composing lyrics and music. Original musical pieces are in high demand in a culture immersed in audio, and the Music Theory/Songwriting emphasis trains you to create compelling and musically complex works, focusing on skills necessary for a foundation in songwriting.

I am currently the Worship Director at Northern Hills Christian Church in Brighton, Colorado. I have ministered here since my graduation from CCU in 2002. My responsibilities include worship leading, overseeing the music and media ministries, songwriting, preaching, and pastoral duties. I was married in February 2007 to the love of my life, a beautiful godly girl named Mariana! She and I are living at our new home in Brighton.
