Outdoor Leadership

"Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail."

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Essayist, Philosopher, and Poet (1803-1882)

Why Outdoor Leadership?

The Outdoor Leadership minor at Colorado Christian University is designed to support many fields of study as a portfolio builder of knowledge, technical skills, and character qualities that will fully complement the Liberal Arts philosophy and education. You'll gain life skills in leadership, sound decision making, flexibility, creative problem solving, and relationships that will build on the training you're receiving in the classroom.

Outdoor Leadership in the Christian University

The Outdoor Leadership minor builds on the Christ-centered education students are receiving in the classroom, trains students in a variety of outdoor skills and disciplines, and equips them to become mature and effective leaders in their churches, careers, communities, and families. You'll be challenged to grow in your faith by integrating biblical concepts into the experiential learning process that occurs in the great outdoors!
