Theology

"Of all the knowledge we can ever obtain, the knowledge of God, and the knowledge of ourselves are the most important."

Jonathan Edwards, American preacher, theologian, and missionary (1703-1758)

Why Theology?

The Theology degree at Colorado Christian University builds a biblical and theological foundation essential for students who feel called to vocational ministry and/or graduate study. Because all Christians benefit from an informed theological education, even if you're entering another professional field, you can benefit from this major. The Theology program is designed to help you think deeply about faith within a community of Christian professors and students.

Theology in the Christian University

As a Theology major or minor at CCU, you'll look closely at how Christianity engages the culture around us, and how you can use your faith to address our world's toughest issues. You'll explore Christian doctrine and how it developed; you'll discover why you believe what you believe. You'll develop abilities and virtues that will affect your everyday life and prepare you for your calling and career.
