Hometown: Van Buren, Arkansas
Education: M.S. Management (Southern Nazarene University); B.S. Specialized Ministries (Mid-America Christian University)
Favorite Verse: "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.” John 10:10
I want to live life abundantly. With Christ you can have fun, enjoy spending time with family and friends, and experience the abundant life that He promises us.
Hobbies: Spending time with my family and friends and playing all kinds of sports. My wife Brenda and I have two daughters: Kelsee and Rylee. I am on a soccer field at least a few times a week either watching my girls play or playing myself. I also play golf, softball, basketball, and I can’t wait to hit the slopes on a snowboard. I collect golf balls with logos from all over the U.S. and the world. I would love to have a golf ball from your hometown.
I came to CCU because: I believe that God opened a huge door for me to come to CCU. My wife and I knew that God was leading us away from our comfort zone and into a whole new experience. When I came on campus for the very first time, I could feel the Spirit of God and I knew that I wanted to be a part of the future of Colorado Christian University. It is exciting to be led by President Armstrong, who is unwavering in his commitment to Christ, higher education, and his desire to see CCU make an impact on our world. CCU welcomed my family with open arms and does the same for each person who comes on campus.
