Hobbies: I love the outdoors! I enjoy running, rock climbing, repelling, hiking (especially 14ers), biking, tubing, whitewater rafting, playing soccer, softball, football, and basketball. I also hope to go skydiving soon. Traveling and seeing new places is something I also enjoy. It's nice to sit down and read a good book every once in awhile as well. But for the most part if it is outdoors I enjoy it.

I came to CCU because: I chose CCU because I wanted to attend a smaller college where I could receive more individual attention from my professors and also for the more intimate campus community. Additionally, I had grown up in a public school system so I wanted to experience all that a Christian education could offer. Upon first visiting CCU I knew right away that it would be a good fit and the location fit me very well. There is so much to do nearby CCU, whether you enjoy the outdoors or city life, and I liked that aspect. While attending CCU I ran on the cross country team and participated in many different clubs and organizations. Upon graduating I earned my master's degree from Kansas State University in Counseling and Student Development with an emphasis in Athletics. After finishing my master's I realized that CCU would be a great place to work and fortunately I now have that opportunity; I currently work in admissions an also the coach cross country team. It is my hope that I can help other students find the kind of college experience that I had at CCU.
