On Friday, May 9, graduating seniors in Colorado Christian University's College of Undergraduate Studies will be honored at a special Senior Banquet at the Denver Marriott West in Golden, Colorado. Students, along with parents, family, and friends are invited to attend and celebrate the new graduates. A Student Music Ensemble will perform, student awards will be presented, and selected faculty members and students will speak. A highlight of the evening is the Apple Award presentations which are given by seniors to selected faculty and staff members who have made an impact on their lives at CCU. Colorado Christian University's Women's Basketball team is hosting its annual Girl's Basketball Camp on June 2-5. Campers will receive individual instruction from NCAA Division II coaches and athletes. The camp will focus on both offense and defense along with individual skill development. On July 14-17, CCU Athletics will host its summer youth sports camp series. In partnership with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA)—the largest Christian sports organization in the United States – CCU’s youth sports camps feature inspirational guest speakers, skill development and training alongside NCAA coaches and players, and daily devotionals with FCA leaders. The camps are open to boys and girls ages 8-14. Morning and afternoon sessions will be held at CCU’s main campus in Lakewood, Colorado. New students in CCU's College of Undergraduate Studies will begin the fall semester at Colorado Christian University with a special Weekend of Welcome (WOW) from August 21-24. This new student orientation program provides students and their families with a variety of opportunities to attend helpful workshops and information sessions, and participate in social events designed to help them get connected to the CCU community.
