The warm days of summer are a perfect time to hone your athletic skills, and what better way than with an official CCU Cougar Sports Camp. Each camp specializes in individual skill development along with the spiritual emphasis available only in a Christian-based camp.
CCU offers camps in baseball (July 28), girl's basketball (June 21-23), boy's basketball (June 24-25), youth volleyball (July 6-8), elite soccer (July 7-10), and elite volleyball (July 30-August 1).
The CCU Baseball Skills Camp is an exciting one day-camp that will focus on all of the fundamental skills of baseball, including throwing, hitting, fielding, and base running. A low $40 camp cost (includes a t-shirt) makes this camp the best deal in Denver!
All participants will have the unique opportunity to play on the field at Coca-Cola All-Star Park at the Gold Crown Foundation sports complex. This field is the premier youth baseball field in Colorado and is a replica of Coors Field.
Instruction will be provided by NCAA Division II CCU coaches and players as well as special guests from professional baseball. Camp is open to boys and girls ages 7-12 and will last from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Lunch will not be provided. Sack lunches can be refrigerated.
Register online today! Participants must complete a Medical Release Form (PDF) prior to participation.
Please contact Coach Rob Pegg at 303-963-3182 or rpegg@ccu.edu for more information.
The 2010 CCU Elite Volleyball Camp is for the advanced 9th- through 12th-grade player who wants to improve her skills and knowledge of the game. Participants will work on all aspects of the game, including fundamental skills and team systems, and will participate in the spiritual development that CCU student-athletes experience on a daily basis.
The $150 camp cost will include a camp shirt and two dinners, but does not include lunch. Housing is available for an additional $100 (includes two nights and six meals)
