Head Men's Baseball Coach

Rob Pegg

Rob PeggRob Pegg enters his third season as head coach for the CCU baseball program.  Pegg, a former player at Vanguard University in Southern California from 1995-1997, won recognition as an NAIA All-American, Team MVP, Team Captain and Male Athlete of the Year. 

After graduation, Pegg played one year of professional baseball with the Canton Crocodiles, before returning to Vanguard to spend seven successful seasons as the lead assistant coach. During his stay, he helped develop the Lions into one of the most competitive teams in the Golden State Athletic Conference, including a 2002 NAIA Region II Championship and Super Regional Final appearance. Pegg offers the Cougars a wealth of experience in recruiting and on-field instruction, as well as a passion for baseball and the development of student-athletes. 

Assistant Coaches

Ricky Walker

Ricky WalkerRicky Walker enters his second season as an assistant baseball coach at Colorado Christian University. A local graduate of Wheatridge High School, Walker played his first two years of college ball at Independence Community College in Kansas, before transferring to the University of Nebraska at Kearney.

Walker competed at Kearney for one year before joining CCU Baseball during the 2005-06 inaugural season. While at CCU, Walker earned RMAC Honorable Mention recognition as a catcher.

As part of the CCU coaching staff, Walker works with the catchers and hitters, assists with recruiting efforts, and will be the Cougars' first base coach on game days.

Justin Jacques

Justin JacquesJustin Jacques enters his first season as an assistant baseball coach at Colorado Christian University.

A graduate of Pleasant Valley High School in Bettendorf, Iowa, Jacques played his college baseball at Regional NAIA powerhouse St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa. As a Fighting Bee, Jacques competed in the 1996 NAIA World Series, where St. Ambrose finished runner-up to Lewis and Clark State University.

Justin has coached for the St. Ambrose University Fall Instructional League and has also been an assistant coach on the Davenport North High School’s sophomore team.

As part of the CCU coaching staff, Jacques works with the outfielders and hitters and will be the Cougars' bench coach on game days.

Blake Adkison

Blake Adkison enters his first season as an assistant coach for the Cougars.

Blake comes to CCU with three years of experience in the Royals' organization, as well as three years of NCAA Division I experience.

Coach Adkison competed for two years at Centenary College in Shreveport, Louisiana, where he was named to the 2004 American Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings All-South Central Region First Team, the 2004 All Mid-Continent Conference First Team, and the 2004 Louisiana Sports Writers Association All-Louisiana Second Team.

Blake is extremely excited to get his coaching career underway at CCU, where his coaching philosophy will focus on the development of sound fundamentals and confidence in every player. 

Aaron Fiet

Coach Fiet enters his first season as an assistant pitching coach at Colorado Christian University. He attended CCU for his freshman year in 2000.
 
A graduate of Omaha Westside High School in Omaha, Nebraska, Fiet played his college baseball at Trinity International University in Deerfield, Illinois. As a Trojan, Fiet was the closer on the pitching staff and had the top velocity on the team.
 
Aaron has conducted private pitching lessons for many youngsters over the past few years and is looking forward to developing the Cougar pitching staff into a powerhouse in the RMAC.
