Tracy Jex

Tracy Jex enters his first year as an assistant cross country coach for the Cougars.
A local standout at Longmont High School, Tracey's running accolades include a top 15 finish at the USATF junior Olympics in the steeplechase, and a top 20 finish in the 5000 meters.
After high school, Jex competed for Division II powerhouse Western State from 1997-99, before transferring to Colorado Christian University, where his leadership and talent helped the Cougars to a top five finish in the highly competitive Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
Upon graduation from CCU, Tracy re-joined Longmont High School as the head cross country coach, and subsequently led a Trojan team that produced seven all-conference runners and made three state finals appearances.
Tracy is a level I certified USATF coach and resides in Longmont with his wife Leah.
