College Access Scholarship

The College Access Scholarship is offered to help Colorado student’s access and complete higher education. The application for the 2011-12 academic year will be available beginning January 1, 2011.

Up to 250 eligible students will receive up to $2,500 to use toward their 2011-12 higher education eligible expenses.

Qualifications:

• A college at least part-time for the 2011-12 school year as a degree-seeking student Complete the 2011-12 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
• Qualify for the Federal Pell Grant (eligibility is based on the results of the FAFSA – students will be notified of eligibility on the FAFSA confirmation page).
• Complete all financial education courses.
• Complete the scholarship application including submitting the Student Aid Report (SAR) to verify the Expected Family Contribution (EFC). Students will receive their SAR electronically within 3-5 days of completing their FAFSA and via mail within two (2) weeks of completing their FAFSA.
