Christian Nursing Programs–Spiritual (and Physical) Journeys

Have you chosen to major in nursing? Are you a nurse furthering your education? Have you always been passionate about working in the healthcare field but are not sure nursing is the right career choice? If  you have answered “yes” to any of these questions, you have come to the right place for information and perhaps some guidance regarding one of the most rewarding, challenging and honorable of all professions: nursing.

Colorado Christian University is proud to offer Christian nursing programs for those men and women who have chosen to devote their lives to helping others. Just as Christ was a faithful servant who lived to care for others, nurses, too, spend their time healing and comforting those who are ill, recovering, or even dying. It’s noble work, it’s physically challenging work, and it’s spiritually uplifting work that requires patience, kindness, compassion and a Christian spirit.

The Christian nursing programs offered at CCU prepare the “next generation of Christian nurses worldwide.” One of the leading nursing schools in the state of Colorado, we offer three nursing programs:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Registered Nurse to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN-BSN)
• Pre-licensure Bachelor of Science in Nursing

CCU’s mission of the Christian nursing programs is to “prepare competent professionals who excel in compassionate care, spiritual care, cultural humility and global engagement from the perspective of nursing as ministry.” CCU nursing programs offer a diverse, comprehensive learning experience that combines traditional coursework with hands-on experience in laboratories and clinical settings where students use state-of-the-art medical equipment and get the opportunity to put theories and practices they’ve learned to good use.
