Upcoming Christian Events in Colorado for the Family

Upcoming Christian Events in Colorado for the FamilyChristianity is a lot more than just a faith – it’s a way of life. That’s why there are so many events, activities and programs developed around Christianity, so that people can live a Christian life and extend what they learn on Sundays to every other day of the week. With that being said, perhaps the most holy of all Christian holidays is fast approaching – Christmas. And with Christmas comes an even greater slew of family events. Here’s a further look at upcoming Christian events in Colorado:

  • The Story Tour (December 3 at Budweiser Events Center, Loveland, CO): It’s a musical concert from the book of Genesis to the book to Revelation, while featuring some of everyone’s favorite Christmas songs.
  • Wonder: A Christmas Celebration (December 6 at West Bowles Community Church, Littleton, CO): This concert is put on by over 100 of Colorado Christian University’s finest musicians. It’s a celebration of Christmas and the birth of Jesus Christ in a musical format.
  • Conifer Christmas Parade (Main Street, Conifer, CO): The 31st annual Conifer Christmas Parade will venture through Conifer starting at 1:30 p.m., but events, games and other activities will be on hand throughout the entire day. It’s a free event to attend.
  • Christmas at the Ranch (December 13-15 at Cherry Hills Community Church, Highlands Ranch, CO): It’s a night of music, dancing and drama – all about Christmas and “the reason for the season.”
  • Christmas Magic Holiday Concert (December 19 at the Word of Life Christian Center, Lone Tree, CO): This third-annual music extravaganza stars Dave Villano and features other noted musicians. Music genres include contemporary and Celtic.

Christmas isn’t the only time of year when Christian events take place. Here’s a look at a notable family-friendly Christian festivity after the new year:

  • Comedy Night(January 31, 2014 at The Rock Church in Castle Rock, CO): Michael JR is said to feature a comic mix of Jerry Seinfeld and Bill Cosby. He’ll be at The Rock Church in early 2014 for a night of fun and laughter.
