If you applied to Colorado Christian University’s College of Adult and Graduate Studies and you’ve been accepted — congratulations! You’re taking a great next step to get your degree and invest in your future.
Although it may seem stressful, the next few steps are simple when it comes to preparing yourself for your CCU journey. You’ve done the hard part of putting yourself out there and applying, and we’re here from this moment on to help make this process seamless.
Here’s what to do next:
Complete the FAFSA.
If you’re interested in receiving financial aid, you will need to fill out and submit the FAFSA, (the Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Federal Student Aid is the largest provider of financial aid for students. Loans, grants, and aid can all be applied for by simply filling out this one application. You will then be notified whether or not you’ve been approved and what amount you’re being offered.
Submit your transcripts.
Whether you’ve never stepped foot in a college classroom or you have your undergrad degree, CCU will need your official transcript to validate whether or not your previous school experience is transferable.
Once you’re accepted into the College of Adult and Graduate Studies, it’s time to register for your upcoming classes. Take advantage of the Student Planning Tool, which will help you plan out your college career at CCU.
Attend the online orientation.
We know that you’re busy, and a lot of our adult students don’t even live in Colorado. That’s why we don’t expect you to come tour one of our centers. Instead, we offer an online orientation. You’ll learn how to buy your books, maneuver your online course components, request your student ID card, identify your advisor, and much more.
Make payment arrangements.
There are many different ways to pay for college. This includes financial aid, a monthly payment plan, and there’s even a possibility that your employer offers tuition reimbursement. Learn more about payment options.
