Activities and Opportunities

Values-Aligned Leadership Summit

All students in the School of Business and Leadership have the opportunity to attend CCU’s annual Values-Aligned Leadership Summit (VALS). VALS brings seasoned executives and CCU business students together to network and exchange ideas on stewardship, ethics, and values-aligned decision making. Previous keynote speakers have included renowned journalist Cal Thomas, CCU President and Former U.S. Senator Bill Armstrong, Mr. Dudley "Bo" Mitchell—president and co-founder of the Garth Brooks Teammates for Kids Foundation and chaplain for the Denver Nuggets, and Mr. Dan Issel—the former head coach and general manager for the Denver Nuggets and member of the NBA Hall of Fame.

SBLA: School of Business and Leadership Association

The School of Business and Leadership Association (SBLA) is a unique student-led organization within Colorado Christian University that desires to unite School of Business and Leadership students with faculty and business professionals. Through these key relationships, members create a network for dialogue, learning, and growth. Students have the opportunity to attend fun and informative events as well as interact directly with business professionals. Membership is open to all students who are seeking business-related majors or leadership minors.

ODK National Leadership Honor Society

Omicron Delta Kappa Society (ODK) is a national leadership honor society that recognizes superior scholarship, leadership, and character. The society places a special emphasis on the development of the whole person as a member of the college community and as a contributor to a better society. ODK membership offers students instant recognition by businesses and organizations throughout the world.

Outdoor Leadership Program

The Outdoor Leadership Program takes the classroom to a whole new level. Imagine learning at the base of a mountain, hanging from a rock wall, or standing waist deep in a river. In the Outdoor Leadership courses you’ll encounter experiential learning opportunities that help students gain confidence, self discipline, and critical decision-making skills, all while encouraging you to deepen your relationship with God. Outdoor Leadership classes are open to all students regardless of your major or minor.
