The CCU Campaign for Religious Freedom in Higher Education

Students choose to attend Colorado Christian University because they desire a Christ-centered education that will equip them academically, professionally, and spiritually. Currently, the state of Colorado is penalizing students for this choice by making them ineligible to participate in the same state aid programs as students who choose to attend other schools. CCU has decided it is unacceptable to stand by and allow our students to be punished for this choice. That is why the University has filed a federal lawsuit against the Colorado Commission on Higher Education in an attempt to protect the religious freedom of our current and future students.

CCU students are not your typical college student. They create ministries to meet the needs of others. They lead mission trips all over the world. They strive to be better leaders. They live up to a higher standard. They choose to attend CCU because they want a Christ-centered education, whether they’re majoring in business, global studies, psychology, or any other discipline. They should be free to make this choice without negative financial consequences. It has never been more important to support students who choose a Christian education. You can help make that education more accessible by making a contribution to CCU’s student scholarship fund.
