4-13-2: Associate of Arts: Early Childhood Education

Colorado Christian University offers an Associate of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education. This degree combines general education and elective courses, offering a solid foundation for career opportunities and advancement. The AA coursework is offered in weekend and evening formats. This accelerated program allows for greater freedom in choosing courses that meet the unique scheduling needs of working adults. It also provides students the general education requirements necessary to complete a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. The Associate of Arts in Early Childhood Education requires 72 semester hours of coursework outlined below.

Graduation Requirements for Associate of Arts: Early Childhood Education

  1. Completion of 60 credit hours as specified in the course requirements listed above. (A maximum of 15 credit hours of 300/400 level courses.)
  2. A letter grade of D or better in all courses and a cumulative GPA of 2.0 in all CCU course work.
  3. Meet the CCU Residency requirements.
  4. Formal and timely application for graduation by the date specified by the University Registrar.
  5. No outstanding financial obligation to the University.
