Adult User’s Guide for WebAdvisor (Abridged)

1. For complete information and user’s guides pertinent to registration go to Courses and Registration. All updated versions of user guides will be posted here.
2. Choose the WebAdvisor link
3. Choose the student link and log in to WebAdvisor
4. Select “Register For Sections”
5. Select “Search and Register for Sections”
6. Enter search criteria to locate sections. You must enter at least two criteria.
• It is simplest if you ignore the “Term” drop down box and enter a Start On/After Date to get the complete range of courses that will include all the mini-terms. For summer terms enter 5/1/06 through 9/5/06 to capture all available sections. For fall terms enter 8/10/06 through 1/10/07 to capture all available sections. If you search using terms, use the adult mini-terms only. Dates for the mini-terms are found at the link above.
• To have all subjects included in your search results, simply leave this area blank. If you want to search for specific subjects, select those from the drop down menus. Keep it simple.
• If you wish to search by a specific location, select your home location or “online” for locations. The Lakewood campus is known as the Denver/Metro Center. You may leave this field blank if you want information for multiple sites.
• You may want to select an “undergraduate” academic level to limit your results. LPE students should leave this box blank.
7. WebAdvisor will return your search results. In order to register you must select check boxes for those courses you want added to your schedule. Select courses and click “submit”.
8. You must then take one more action step and confirm that you want to register for some or all of your selections. Select “Register” from the drop down menus beside each of your selected courses and be sure to click “submit”.
9. If you have successfully registered your “Registration Results” page will list your courses. You may also check your schedule by clicking the course schedule button in the lower right part of your screen. To view schedule, you must select the specific terms.
