Psychology Degree

Bachelor of Science (B.S.)

Psychology in the Christian University

The Psychology degree at Colorado Christian University provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the foundational theories in human nature, explored from a Christian worldview. In accordance with the University mission, CCU challenges students to integrate faith and the study of human behavior in a scholarly environment that fosters critical and creative thinking. CCU professors are committed practitioners and educators that bring real world experience into the classroom. At CCU, we recognize the unique needs of adult learners through our utilization of various locations, methodologies, technology, and support.

Why Psychology?

It is our goal to prepare students to serve and transform their professions, churches and communities. By gaining a greater understanding of people, graduates with a major in psychology are equipped for entry-level positions in business, education, the mental health field, ministry, governmental agencies and other areas where a psychology background is either required or enhances the individual's qualifications for employment. In addition to personal growth and professional training, students are prepared for graduate work in the field of psychology and counseling. This academically prepares graduates to apply for admission to the Master of Arts in Counseling program at CCU.
