Undecided Majors

Selecting a major can be a difficult decision. In fact, many students who go back to school are not sure what they should study. It is important to take your time selecting a major so you can consider your personal goals, your educational goals, and your career goals. If you are still deciding which major would be the best fit for you, we offer the following suggestions:

Talk with a CCU enrollment counselor about your options. They may be able to offer you some ideas based on your interests and professional experience.
Set up an appointment with CCU's Career Services Department and learn what assessments can help you narrow down your choices.
Start taking general education courses. CCU’s Associate of Arts degree program includes all of the general education courses required for students seeking a bachelor’s degree. These courses can help you develop a better feel for which major will be most effective in helping you accomplish your goals.
