    Scholarship Contest Rules

    The Offer

    Two grand prizes will be awarded in the BELIEVE Scholarship Contest: one $10,000 tuition scholarship and one $5,000 tuition scholarship toward an associate degree, bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, educator licensing program, or certificate program from CCU’s College of Adult and Graduate Studies.* All other qualified entrants in the promotion will win a $1,000 tuition scholarship.

    How to Enter and Win

    • Enter the BELIEVE Scholarship Contest between January 23 and January 31, 2013.

    Designated Grand Prize Winners

    A random drawing for the $10,000 grand prize scholarship and $5,000 grand prize scholarship will be held on February 8, 2013. The names of the winners will be posted on the BELIEVE Scholarship Contest website.

    How to Use Your Scholarship

    • Apply for admission to CCU's College of Adult and Graduate Studies by March 13, 2013. Submit your admission application for an associate degree, bachelor's degree, master's degree, educator licensing program, or certificate program offered through CCU's College of Adult and Graduate Studies. The $50 admission application fee will be waived through this deadline if you enter BELIEVE in the special Promotional Code field in the payment options section of the application.
    • Meet CCU admission requirements by April 15, 2013. Your admission status must be fully, provisionally, or conditionally admitted by this date. Contact your enrollment counselor or call 303-963-3311 if you have any questions about your admission status.
    • Begin your degree program at CCU by June 17, 2013. See our College of Adult and Graduate Studies Academic Calendar for semester start dates, and check with your Enrollment Counselor for the next start date for your specific academic program.

    Scholarship Payments

    • The recipient of the $10,000 scholarship will receive up to a $1,000 tuition credit toward each of the first 10 courses in the student’s degree program at CCU (not to exceed the cost of each course). Note: If one of the first ten classes is a 6 credit class, $2,000 will be applied to that class. The total scholarship may not exceed $10,000.
    • The recipient of the $5,000 scholarship will receive up to a $500 tuition credit toward each of the first ten courses in their degree program. Note: If one of the first ten classes is a 6 credit class, $1,000 will be applied to that class. The total scholarship may not exceed $5,000.
    • Each $1,000 scholarship recipient will receive a $250 tuition credit toward each of the first four courses. Note: If one of the first ten classes is a 6 credit class, $500 will be applied to that class. The total scholarship may not exceed $1,000.
    • The scholarship may only be used toward courses offered directly by Colorado Christian University. The scholarship may not be applied toward courses offered through CCU partners or affiliates, including but not limited to certain courses for the MBA in Information Security which are offered through the University of Fairfax.
    • Tuition credits will be deducted from the student’s account balance. All course billings must be paid, or have a payment arrangement contract in place, prior to the first day of the class. The scholarship funds must be used by the spring 2015 semester. Any unused portion will be forfeited after that date.     Additional Requirements

    • Entrants must be at least 19 years old on January 31, 2013.
    • Only one entry per individual (and per e-mail address) is permitted.
    • Scholarships may only be used toward tuition for degree programs in CCU's College of Adult and Graduate Studies. They are not applicable to traditional undergraduate programs in CCU's College of Undergraduate Studies.
    • Students currently or formerly enrolled or registered in any academic program within CCU's College of Adult and Graduate Studies are not eligible for this scholarship contest.
    • Scholarships cannot be deferred beyond the June 17, 2013 enrollment deadline.
    • Scholarships are not transferable to another person.
    • Students who are eligible for CCU’s reduced military tuition rate will not be eligible for this scholarship contest.
    • If a scholarship recipient is unable to meet CCU admission requirements and Scholarship Contest requirements, or chooses not to enroll in the degree program at CCU during the enrollment period noted above, the tuition scholarship will be forfeited.
    • By entering this contest, entrants authorize Colorado Christian University to contact them by phone, text messaging, mail, and/or e-mail.

    * The scholarship promotion is not applicable to degree programs in CCU’s College of Undergraduate Studies which offers traditional residential-based programs.
