Application Deadlines
Students can enter the Master of Arts in Counseling (MAC) program at multiple points in the academic year. We encourage you to start the application for admission now so you can begin your studies at the next available start date. CCU recommends that applicants to the MAC program complete the admission process a minimum of one month ahead of the next start date so that they have adequate time for working with an advisor and qualifying for financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.
To accelerate the admission process, you should complete the following steps as soon as possible:
- Block out some time to complete and submit your admission application, including the application fee and required essays.
- Ask three people to provide you with a letter of recommendation that can be filled out as part of the application process on CCU’s Web site. These recommendations can be professional, pastoral, and/or personal.
- Have official transcripts from all colleges you have attended sent to CCU.
- Have your Graduate Record Exam scores sent to CCU. If you have not taken the GRE, you should schedule the exam and start preparing now. Visit the GRE Web site for more information.
- Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.
