Curriculum and Instruction

Master of Arts Degree (M.A.)

There has never been a greater need for effective educators and leaders—with a strong moral foundation—in educational settings across the globe. The Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction (MACI) program at Colorado Christian University is specifically designed to meet this need. Earning your MACI at CCU will enhance your philosophy of education as well as your personal worldview, helping you integrate both into your career as an educator.

The Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction is designed to enable students to enhance their professional careers in teaching, administration, organizational training, and curriculum development. The goal of the program is to develop strong educational leadership skills in educators that are dedicated to addressing diverse learner needs.

MACI classes are offered in several flexible formats including online, a traditional classroom-based setting, and a hybrid schedule that allows students to alternate between classroom and online formats. Learn more about specific locations and formats.

There are three graduate-level certificates offered in conjunction with the Master of Arts in Curriculum and Education. The Corporate Education Certificate prepares students to teach in almost any corporate business environment. The Online Course Developer Certificate trains students to effectively design, develop, and evaluate online classes in educational or corporate settings. And the Online Teaching and Learning Certificate gives students the tools they need to develop an online teaching strategy that enables them to significantly impact individual learners online. Each certificate program consists of six three-credit courses for a total of 18 credits toward your Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction.
