Applying for Admission
The application for admission to the CCU Master of Business Administration program is available online, giving you the flexibility to complete your application and access required documents in multiple stages. The application and fee should be submitted electronically. Please print copies of required documents as necessary and submit them to Colorado Christian University, College of Adult and Graduate Admission.
Required Documents
- Application for admission.
- Resume or Curriculum Vitae. (A Curriculum Vitae is a short summary of your educational and academic background as well as teaching and research experience, publications, presentations, awards, honors, affiliations, and other details.)
- Essays responding to the program-specific questions on the application.
- Official transcripts from all colleges or universities attended.
- Application processing fee.
- Interview with Colorado Christian University administration.
- One letter of recommendation from an employer or pastor. (The Letter of Recommendation may be requested through the online application process.)
- Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) scores. Candidates must submit their GMAT scores prior to completion of one semester of graduate study at CCU. The Colorado Christian University Reporting Code for the GMAT is 4573. The GMAT requirement will be waived for students with an undergraduate grade point average of 3.0 or above. Proof of completion of a post-baccalaureate degree at a regionally accredited university may be substituted for GMAT scores.
- Prerequisites: MBA applicants must complete three prerequisite courses – one each in the areas of accounting, economics/finance and statistics. Proof of completion of these prerequisites can be established when the student’s transcripts are submitted to admissions with the application. Students may be accepted into the MBA program before completion of these prerequisite courses; however, the MBA courses in Accounting, Finance and Business Research may not be taken until proof of completion of these prerequisites has been received by the registrar’s office. Prerequisite courses may be taken at any regionally accredited institution, which includes CCU’s College of Adult and Graduate Studies accelerated courses, CLEP or DANTES.
- Professional Experience: MBA applicants are expected to have a minimum of five years of combined professional experience.
- The Office of Admission reserves the right to request additional information as deemed necessary to make a selection decision.
International Applicants
An international candidate is one whose first language is any other than English or any candidate who has completed a college or university degree outside the United States.
- Students whose first language is not English must also submit TOEFL scores. (Students completing a four-year degree from an accredited U.S. university may be exempted from TOEFL requirements in some cases.) The minimum recommended score for TOEFL is 550.
