THANKSGIVING BREAK

Chicago

Emphasis: Personal Evangelism/ Exposure/Service/Prayer
Working with homeless men, women, and children. Serving in a shelter by day and on the streets by night.
Dates: November 19th-28th


New Mexico

Emphasis: Personal Evangelism
Ministering to the physical and spiritual needs of Navajo Families on a reservation. We will do this through providing wood and handing outing Thanksgiving turkeys.

SPRING BREAK

Salt Lake City, Utah
Emphasis: Exposure/Service/Educational
Encourage the Christian Church in Utah, to serve and share the love of Christ and to help rebuild “burnt bridges”.

Nicaragua
Emphasis: Personal Evangelism/Exposure/Construction
Assisting organization in building homes to move families out of the dump while continuing to building relationships made with families already moved out of the dump.
Dates: Spring Break
 
Scotland
Emphasis: Personal Evangelism/Discipleship
Continued ministry and encouragement in Lenzie, Scotland. Work with local believers of all ages (mainly peers) in a spiritually dry climate.

SUMMER

Costa Rica
Emphasis: Personal Evangelism/Construction (camp ministry)
Work with La Montana Christian camp in providing service on retreats for local teens. Also reaching out to the local community through VBS and service projects.

Estonia/Ukraine
Emphasis: Public & Personal Evangelism/Discipleship
Work with high school/college age students. Lots of evangelism with youth and one on one settings. Also relational work in disciplining and encouraging Christians to share their faith. Apologetics needed.

India
Emphasis: Construction/Personal Relationships/Exposure
Work with local villagers to build/repair footpaths, which are their only routes in and out of their villages. Also experience the local culture, religion and lifestyle.

Japan
Emphasis: Personal Evangelism/Educational
Working with a local church to teach English and minister to high school and college students.
Dates: May 9th–30th
 
Poland
Emphasis: Personal Evangelism/Educational
Work with kids of dysfunctional families in Southern Poland. Opportunities to teach English and help rebuild a church.
Dates: May 8th-27th
 
Peru
Emphasis: Construction and Public Evangelism
Serve poor in a rural community with Food for the Hungry. We will be meeting physical and spiritual needs through construction work and VBS with children.

Thailand
Emphasis: Personal Evangelism/Exposure/Prayer
Working with local skateboard and prostitute ministries in southern Thailand. Sharing the love of Christ with youth in the area (95% Buddhists).
Dates: May 9th–June 7th
