Media coverage of Summit was national & then some

Centennial Institute tips our hat to Jim Czupor and Marta Sipecki of InterPro Group public relations firm in Denver, who served expertly as press secretaries for Western Conservative Summit 2011, July 29–31 in Denver. (They previously handled the same duties for Tribute to the Troops with Sarah Palin, May 2 at the CCU campus.) You can learn more about their firm at After each day’s program wound up at the Summit, Jim burned the late oil compiling a log of media coverage. His own words after the final day give the best summary: “Pretty amazing!”

(Friday, July 29, 12:00 midnight) Here’s a sample of coast–to–coast national news coverage from tonight’s opening session. This does not include stories carried by more than 30 TV station stories in markets around the country. Nearly all the stories mention the Western Conservative Summit. And, as you might imagine, all the major cities in Texas and Pennsylvania picked up AP stories about tonight’s keynote speakers, Rick Petty and Rick Santorum.
