School of Education
Activities and Opportunities
As a School of Education student at CCU, you'll have a variety of opportunities to take what you're learning in the classroom and put it into practice. At the same time, we encourage you to get involved in ministry and extra-curricular opportunities that give you the chance to deepen your faith and impact lives. These are just a few of the many activities and opportunities available to you at CCU:
-
Denver Street School: CCU has a special partnership with the Denver Street School, giving CCU students the option to complete some of you field experience in an inner-city setting.
-
Front Range Christian School: The CCU School of Education has a partnership with this private Christian school giving students the option to complete some of your field experience in a Christian setting.
-
Association of Christian Schools International Certification: You can go through the ACSI certification process, giving you professional credentials for Christian school educators at all levels and in all disciplines.
-
Westside Tutoring Program: This student-led ministry gives all CCU students the chance to impact the lives of inner-city children by sharing God's love through tutoring.
-
CCU Leadership Program: Many of CCU's education students participate in the 18-credit leadership program focused on theoretical foundations for servant leadership and leadership development.
