Majors and Minors
The School of Education offers teacher preparation programs in elementary education, secondary education and music education K-12. Each program focuses on combining theory and practice, giving students hands-on experience in the classroom through 800 hours of field experience in student teaching and other involvement in local schools. Students cannot major in Education; instead, they choose to major in subject areas such as Liberal Arts, English, History, and others noted below.
