SAFE HOUSE ASSISTANT DIRECTOR – Pay: $2000/month; Hours: Full Time; REF# 934

Lift up a hurting community by helping them build their new foundation on Christ. In this Christian company, work as an assistant director in a home for single women without children who need housing and desire to rebuild their lives. Expect to work with many women who are coming out of prostitution or the sex for sale industry.  The Director will be assisting these women who are working on job skills, employment and educational issues, spiritual growth issues, legal issues, etc. Other responsibilities entail meeting with residents weekly to make, review, and evaluate progress made on goals, attend meetings, coordinate with counselors and mental health workers needed for each resident. As a coach, you will do the following tasks. Work with children to help them complete sensory-motor and cognitive activities. Provide support to students to stay focused and on task. Be enthusiastic about working with children with patience, flexibility, commitment and the ability to multi-task. The Client Services Director position oversees all services provided to clients from their specific Alternatives’ office location. The Director works in collaboration with the full client services and medical team to provide pregnancy tests, options counseling, STD testing and treatment with lifestyle counseling and community resources. The Client Services Director will train, supervise, evaluate and encourage the volunteer client advocates. This position is a part of the larger organizational Client Services Team. There is responsibility to monitor and oversee client record keeping and statistics. The position requires some public speaking and community outreach. Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or Social Work; Preferred: Master’s Degree in Counseling or Social Work.
