Education with an Impact

Education at CCU is focused on developing the whole person, intellectually, professionally, and spiritually. We believe the academic experience is more than sitting in a classroom. It’s about expanding your view of the world, learning to think critically, gaining a biblical foundation of knowledge, investigating your beliefs in a supportive setting. At CCU education means more than lectures, exams, writing papers, and reading textbooks. While these things are crucial to developing the knowledge and skills necessary for a professional career, we believe students should also consider how their faith will impact the way they live and work after college. That’s why faith is integrated into the curriculum for every course, whether it’s business, science, English, or education.

Our professors are here to help students through this process. They’re both teachers and mentors. And you’re more than a number. During your time at CCU professors get to know you...by name. They are concerned with your academic success, but they are also interested in your spiritual growth. CCU professors come from a variety of different perspectives within the evangelical faith. They have faced the challenge of living out that faith in the world. While they are teaching and training students in academic disciplines and professional competencies, they are also helping them learn how to be followers of Christ by encouraging them to put their belief in Jesus into living practice.

"After seeing what is happening in the lives of our students, I deeply believe CCU offers not only a Christian college environment, but also a richly Christ-centered education that speaks deeply into the hearts and souls of young people."
-Dr. Larry Crabb, Distinguished Scholar in Residence
