Investing in CCU Students

In order to achieve the mission of Colorado Christian University—to serve God by providing Christ-centered higher education—CCU relies on committed partners who invest their time, talent, and/or treasure to advance CCU’s ability to deliver superb academic programs that challenge the heart, soul, and mind of the students while nurturing cognitive development, spiritual growth, and character formation in our students in the heart of the Rocky Mountain region.

Please consider how you might partner with CCU in preparing students for a lifetime of service, leadership, and discipleship.

Grow the CCU Endowment

Currently, CCU’s endowment contains general funds and funds established for scholarships.  CCU endeavors to expand the endowment to include funds for professorships, building construction, special programs, University departments, and outreach ministries.

Provide Student Scholarships

The Annual Fund
CCU’s Annual Fund provides much-needed scholarships for students. Since approximately 75 percent of CCU students depend on this financial aid in order to make a CCU education possible, contributions to the Annual Fund are essential for attracting and retaining the best students. Funds received are used to help CCU offer over 3 million dollars a year in scholarship assistance.

  • The Annual Fund depends on alumni, parents, and friends to provide consistent annual donations, and each, regardless of size, is greatly needed and appreciated.
  • Partners who make annual gifts of $1,000 or more into the Annual Fund are eligible for membership in the President’s Circle .

Endowed Scholarships
In order to provide additional student scholarships in perpetuity, CCU desires to increase its endowment. Endowed or permanently restricted scholarships, which are specially named and disbursed according to the donor’s wishes, may be established for gifts of $20,000 or more, and provide scholarships through interest generated annually on the principal amount.  In addition, amounts less than $20,000 go to the General Scholarship Endowment, or can be contributed to the following scholarships: minority/first generation scholarships, fine arts, and athletics.
