Full-time employees are those who are regularly assigned to work 32 hours or more per week. Employees are eligible for coverage on the first day of the month following their date of hire. VSP network doctors offer several convenient locations near business, residential areas, and shopping centers. CCU employees benefit from annual exams and discounted corrective eyewear with no monthly premiums.
All full-time staff and faculty are offered life insurance as well as accidental death and dismemberment coverage at no cost to the employee.

A retirement plan is an important financial asset, and TIAA-CREF partners with CCU and our employees in planning for their retirement. Tax-deferred deductions of up to five percent are matched by CCU for this retirement 403b Plan.
Full-time staff and faculty with one year of service are eligible for a 100 percent tuition waiver in undergraduate and graduate programs at CCU. Tuition will also be waived for their spouse and dependents enrolling in undergraduate-level programs at CCU.

FlexSystem offers employees the opportunity to pay for certain qualified benefits (both medical and dependent care expenses) on a pre-tax basis. Paying for certain benefits with pre-tax dollars reduces the amount paid in taxes and increases take-home pay. Every dollar paid on a pre-tax basis results in savings to the employee.
CCU pays the cost of employees' participation in our short-term and long-term disability plans, which provide partial salary replacement in the event of a disability.
CCU employees receive a 10% discount on all purchases of store merchandise, excluding textbooks, sale merchandise, and academically discounted software.
CCU employees receive free admission to all home games.
