    When you embark on your college career, you'll be challenged on a whole new level; We want you to succeed Inside and outside of the classroom

    Our rigorous academic programs are designed to prepare you with the knowledge and skills you will need to be successful, while integrating faith and helping you develop your leadership potential. We have high academic expectations, but we're also committed to helping you succeed.

    As a CCU student, you will benefit from the following academic support:

    • Academic Advising: You will work with your LDC Advisor to create a degree plan based on your selected major. Advisors play a key role in making sure you stay on track to graduate.
    • Academic Success: LDC Advisors are available to assist you with note-taking strategies, study skills, time management, and test-taking strategies.
    • Academic Testing: The Life Directions Center administers COMPASS, CLEP, and DSST exams and is also available to proctor missed exams at the request of faculty.
    • Tutoring Services: All students have access to learning assistants through the Life Directions Center. Tutoring can help you catch up if you are falling behind in your studies or be proactive in helping you stay ahead.
    • Undeclared Majors Advising: If you're not sure which major is right for you, LDC Advisors can help you make the right decision based upon your interests, abilities, and life passions.
