Advising the Whole Person
College isn't just about what you want to do with your life after graduation: it's also about who you want to become.
Determining who you want to become is no easy task. Sometimes it can even be a life-long journey. Our goal is to make sure you're prepared. Every student at CCU is assigned a Life Directions Advisor who will walk alongside you from your first day on campus until you graduate.
The Center itself houses a unique model for student advising, providing a holistic approach to the student experience – including the areas of life calling and vocation, academic advising, and service learning. This model also includes assisting you in your personal spiritual, academic, and social development throughout your time at CCU.
You can think of it as more of a relational approach to advising – one that emphasizes a personal connection. We think of it as a unique and vital part of our students' experience at CCU – one that will have eternal impact.
