Colorado Christian University is excited to be moving forward with a complete redevelopment of the Lakewood campus. The 8-10 year total campus redevelopment project will cost in excess of $120 million with $55 million anticipated from charitable gifts. Many friends have already shown their support for the project through various types of gifts. CCU has received gifts of stock, real estate, IRA distributions, shares in a limited partnership, and several charitable gift annuities have been established – demonstrating the range of creative methods supporters are using to increase the impact and size of their gifts.

Phase 1 of the Faith | Family | Freedom Campaign begins with a 43,000 square foot academic building, significant infrastructure improvements, and the acquisition of real estate contiguous to the Lakewood campus, which expands our campus from 25 to 34 acres. The main Alameda Ave. entrance will be widened and enhanced, and it will provide a clearly defined internal drive on the campus to reach campus facilities.

The new academic building will begin a momentous new phase in the history of the University, coinciding closely with our centennial in 2014. It will meet a variety of present needs and prove to be a crucial first step toward a dramatically transformed campus.
