On Friday, January 25, Colorado Christian University is hosting a Religious Liberty Luncheon for pastors and scholars to provide a briefing on the practical and legal implications of the rise of religious discrimination and persecution.
Churches, parachurch organizations and religious schools such as Colorado Christian University are on the firing line in the battle to preserve and extend religious freedom.
Eric Baxter, Senior Counsel of the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty, will provide an update on the evolving battle for religious freedom. Eric is representing CCU in our lawsuit against the Department of Health and Human Services over the contraceptive/abortion drug mandate. He has vast experience in religious liberty cases in the Ninth Circuit and before the U.S. Supreme Court.
