Sodexo Campus Services has partnered with Colorado Christian University to meet the food service needs of students, faculty, staff, parents, and campus guests. CCU offers a variety of meal plans for students living on or off campus. While students are their primary concern and focus, Sodexo strives to serve quality products that are healthy, nutritious, and flavorful for all their customers.
| CCU Dining Commons |
The CCU Dining Commons, affectionately referred to as “The Caf” by students, offers all-you-care-to-eat dining. At the Caf, you have the freedom to choose the meal that best satisfies your hunger. Choose from several different service stations including self-serve soup, salad, and pizza bars, vegetarian options, three cooking stations serving different entrees with complimentary side dishes, exhibition dishes prepared personally for your taste, and made-to-order hot and cold sandwiches.
In addition, the Caf plans special meals and events for holidays and campus events, giving students the opportunity to celebrate holidays like Thanksgiving, Valentine’s Day, and Cinco de Mayo together. Sodexo Inc. and their professional staff also cater many of CCU’s special events. |
| Cougar Den |
The Cougar Den is CCU’s on-campus convenience store. Located on the residential side of campus, The Cougar Den is open weekday evenings and weekends to service University students. The Cougar Den carries a variety of snacks and basic grocery items from Fritos to frozen dinners. Entrée items are also available including made-to-order pizza, hot and cold sandwiches, and salads. |
| Cougar Café |
The Cougar Café is CCU’s on-campus Starbucks® serving students, faculty, and staff members traditional drinks from hot chocolate and apple cider to more contemporary drinks like lattes, caramel macchiatos, and Italian cream sodas. Drinks are made to order and customized to your liking by professional and courteous student baristas. Housed on the residential side of campus in the Student Union, the Cougar Café provides you delicious drinks with sensational service. |
The following meal plan options are available to CCU students. The “meals” may be used for any meal (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) in the Dining Commons (“The Caf”) and will expire at the end of each semester. The dining dollars may be used to purchase extra meals or snacks for you or guests in the Dining Commons ("The Caf"), the Cougar Den (on-campus convenience store), or the Cougar Café (on-campus coffee shop). Students have the option to purchase additional dining dollars as desired.
Because each CCU on-campus apartment is equipped with a full kitchen, many students like to take advantage of cooking for themselves occasionally. Meals are only served in the Dining Commons Monday through Friday, although the Cougar Den and Cougar Café hold weekend hours.
Certain meal plans are required for certain groups of students who live on-campus; requirements are indicated below. See the residency requirements for more information. Students should consult the semester calendar for all of the important dates regarding CCU dining options and meal plans.
The variety of menu items available help accommodate most special diet needs. If you are on a specific diet prescribed by a physician, you may request assistance from the Dining Services staff in the CCU Cafeteria. Students should schedule an appointment and bring a copy of the diet prescription from your doctor/nutritionist.
