Biography and Professional Achievements

Professor Borman earned a Master's in Educational Leadership from the University of Northern Colorado. He began his educational career as an English teacher at Gateway High School in Aurora, Colorado, where he was named "Teacher of the Year" twice. He also taught at Greeley Central High School before moving into administration. He has served as a principal in multiple schools and was superintendent of the Lewis-Palmer District — one of the highest-performing districts in Colorado — where he worked with city leaders to positively impact the community.

Professor Borman has taught at CCU since the fall of 2015 and teaches secondary and special education courses that are associated with student teaching, field experience, and placement.
